Introduction

Let me introduce myself. My name is Anne (vegANNE). I'm an animal loving, vegetable eating, yoga practicing, meditation sitting, everyday person.

I decided to stop eating animals a few years ago because honestly it had always felt wrong to me but I thought I needed meat to survive. One day, I realized I was a grown ass woman and was no longer going to participate in it. At that time, I thought I was becoming vegetarian and then the research began. I realized the dairy and egg industries are just as, if not more, cruel. I became vegan the same day I started to just CONSIDER vegetarianism.

Skip forward a year or so and I decide to eliminate alcohol (GASP!). I started meditating at night for better sleep since I was no longer using red wine as a sleep aid. Eventually I no longer needed it for sleep but instead use it as a tool for my heart and soul health. It's brought me so much peace. Yoga followed shortly after and here I am, healthier and happier than I've ever been.
